Apparent Massive Gas Explosion at New York College Campus


An explosion in a college campus building north of New York City blew out windows, and officials say there are reports of injuries.
  
The explosion at Nyack College happened just before noon. A spokesman for the Rockland County executive's office says county fire departments are responding.
The ABC affiliate out of New York City, WABC, is reporting that it was apparently a massive gas explosion.
  
Witnesses tell The Journal-News that the explosion blew out windows and the door of the building.
  
Nyack College is a Christian college about 25 miles north of New York City. The explosion happened at a building on South Highland Avenue, a main campus road.
