The popular drink of the american diet
saw some interesting changes take place when New York City banned the
sale of soda beverages larger than 16oz at restaurants and food stands.
Mayor Bloomberg and The Board of Health teamed up with an 8 – 0 vote in
favor of the ban. We have all heard growing up that soda is not good for
us to drink. Some may argue that in moderation its ok, which to a
degree it probably considering how you define “OK,” But I personally
feel that given the qualities and ingredients of soda, as well as its
acidic effect on the body, it is definitely a beverage you should not be
drinking at all. And that includes diet soda!
