Texas Teacher & Mother Of Two Arrested In Front Of School For Having Sex With Student
Inappropriate sexual behavior from teachers has been out-of-control lately. Earlier this week, a teacher gave birth to her student’s baby. This week, another was arrested for having sex with her student (despite having two young children at home).
32-year-old Brooke Lynn Domel, a mother of two and teacher, has been arrested for having a sexual relationship with one of her male students.
The Texas teacher was taken into custody on Monday in the parking lot of where she teaches, the Wharton Independent School District. Her students and fellow teachers watched in shock as she was handcuffed and put in the back of a police cruiser.
Domel has been charged with a second degree felony charge: improper relationship between an educator and a student. She was booked into Wharton County Jail on Monday.
On Tuesday, the 32-year-old was released on bond. She has a young son and daughter at home.

According to a police report, Domel had sex with the high school boy in 2012 — he graduated from the Wharton High School this year.
Wharton Independent School District Superintendent Kay Shoppa put out a written statement to the news media regarding the incident:
“The district takes these allegations very seriously and does not tolerate the type of conduct alleged. Student safety remains the No. 1 priority in this school system. To that end, the district is cooperating with authorities and will take any and all corrective action it deems necessary as a result of this investigation.”
Domel is a graduate of Texas A&M University. According to the Wharton High School website, she teaches elective classes like floral design, landscape management, and small animal management.
The teacher has been placed on administrative leave since her arrest. Her future at the school, however, remains unclear. Her contract for the 2013-2014 school year has already been renewed, so things could get complicated.
The initial investigations into the student/teacher relationship was launched back in May when witnesses alerted police.
After officials had received “new information” in connection to the case, they arrested Domel on Monday at 10:30 am.
